Am not that familiar with Peter the Brazen.

Is this a complete collection of all the Peter the Brazen stories, or are there further works?

-------------------------------

This is a reprint of the 1919 novel, Peter the Brazen. It combines and refines the six novellas from "The Argosy" into a single long narrative.

Yes, there are other stories of Peter the Brazen.

Thanks

Is this a reprint of the book "Peter the Brazen : A Mystery of Modern China" (which was an abridged version of the first six Peter the Brazen stories in Argosy), or is it the six original stories themselves?

-------------------------------------------

This is a new edition of the hardcover book.

The six short stories were rather episodic. Worts condensed them into what became this novel. The story reads much better in the condensed, book form.
