Harold A. Lamb
Master of historical fiction. Harold A. Lamb (1892-1962) was the award-wining author of historical biographies of such figures as Genghis Khan, Hannibal and Tamlerlane; in addition to nonfiction articles for National Geographic on such topics as The Crusades.

Lamb also penned historical fiction for Saturday Evening Post and Colliers.

During the first two decades of his writing career Lamb sold numerous short or novel-length works to such all-fiction pulp magazines such as Argosy and Adventure.
