The Windy City Pulp and Paper Convention 2010 was a grand success as we recognized the 100th anniversary of Adventure magazine. More than 420+ attendees passed through the doors for the three-day event. Nice to see faces both familiar and new.

If you are in the Greater Chicago area, make a trip out to the show. With more than a hundred dealers selling books, magazines, DVDs and assorted collectibles, there is sure to be something you can't go home without.

We have six wonderful new titles now available covering a range of subjects. With crime, Western, science fiction, historical adventure and non-fiction, there is something for everyone!

  • Twice Murdered by Laurence Donovan—the first major collection of fiction by this Doc Savage and Phantom Detective ghost writer.
  • Lust of the Lawless—collecting all of Robert Leslie Bellem's Spicy Western stories.
  • The Space Annihilator— a collection of sixteen early science fiction tales from 1896-1910.
  • Killer's Caress by Cary Moran—The first paperback appearance of a rare novel featuring the intrepid newspaperman Johnny Harding, star of a series of stories from Spicy Detective.
  • The Black Death by Marion Polk Angellotti—The historical adventures of Sir John Hawkwood and the White Company in Italy in 1380. Previously uncollected material.
  • Fundamental of Fiction Writing by Arthur Sullivant Hoffmann—a seminal book on writing fiction by the longtime editor of Adventure magazine. First time in paperback. This is the first title in our line of nonfiction studies.
